"The largest collection of motorcycles in Romania, and the only one in Eastern Europe, is located in a village in Suceava, in Horodnic de Jos and belongs to Alexandru Şcheul, a Bucovinian dedicated to the body and soul of his childhood passion, motorcycles.
"In the collection there are over 160 motorcycles, most of them manufactured in the former communist block. Being passionate about mechanics, Alexandru Şcheul reconditioned himself, in the first 10 years, all motorcycles, and in time, they became two-wheeled jewelry!

"Many times the collector had to buy three motorcycles to make one, so some have three stories. “80 percent are motorcycles from the former communist bloc," says
Alexandru Scheul.
"On average, each motorcycle that looks like new and is in perfect working order is worth between 5,000 and 6,000 euros. The most expensive is a Zundapp K 800 model that is worth 40,000 euros. The model is from 1944 and was purchased from Germany."

"He went on to say that he bought his motorcycles from the company's salary and that in the last 12 years there has been no month in which he could not even buy "a jackass". He was lucky, he says, because his wife understood his passion and supported him. She even bought him two motorcycles.
Open anytime and with free entry, the museum is organized by country and houses 115 motorcycles in perfect working order.
