The World Record Academy world record setting feat was highlighted prominently throughout our event from collaterals, web, apps, branding on stage, signage, press release, holding slides on main stage and also a short film played frequently throughout our event etc. There was no mention of or branding for Guinness World Records at the event – just
World Record Academy.
We are so excited about setting this most exciting World Record Academy for the “Longest Playable Stringed Musical Instrument” and feel truly honored to have made the record setting attempt last Saturday 25 October 2014, here in Singapore.

"According to
World Record Academy, the
letter was mailed in Southampton before the Titanic left England. Its survival made it one of the rare pieces of correspondence associated with passengers aboard the ship. The
letter also retained several original postal features. Its second page could be folded to form an envelope-like postal cover, with the White Star Line logo on the reverse. A two-and-a-half-penny stamp was attached to the address section.
"However, the tape did not affect the readability of the writing, and the letter was otherwise described as being in very good condition. Spink Smythe later sold the
letter in New York for $16,100.

Romanian Woman Unknowingly Uses $1.1 Million Amber Nugget as Doorstop for Decades
"A 3.5 kilogram lump of amber spent decades holding a door open in Romania, and nobody in the house guessed what it was. Not the elderly woman who lugged it home from a stream bed. Not even the burglars. Experts now value the stone at about one million euros, roughly $1.1 million, and it sits in a museum case as the largest known nugget of its type on Earth. The story picked up a fresh wave of readers this month after the account Pubity posted the tale to its millions of followers on Sunday, November 1. The post drew 1,480 likes and more than 34,000 views in its first day, according to the platform’s engagement data.
"The Polish specialists confirmed the object as rumanite, a fossilized tree resin found almost exclusively in the sandstone of the Buzău river system, according to its Wikipedia entry. El País broke the story internationally in September 2024. The paper reported the resin could be between 38.5 and 70 million years old. The World Record Academy, which certified the record, lists a slightly wider band of 40 to 70 million years on its listing page.
