A few Jersey Devil stats

The park shared some of the coaster’s features:

– Max speed is 58 mph (93 kph)

– It’s 13 stories high with the 130-foot first drop

– It covers more than 3,000 feet (915 meters)

"“Jersey Devil folklore has been a source of fear and intrigue here in the Pine Barrens for more than 200 years. "The Jersey Devil towers 130 feet in the air, and will propel riders through the sky at speeds up to 58 mph. An 87-degree vertical drop after a 13 story hill kicks it all off, and a scream-inducing 180-degree stall, raven dive and zero-gravity roll will invert passengers throughout the ride," the People magazine reports.

"What makes the coaster different from many others is the fact that it features just one rail — meaning riders will sit low down and single-file, legs straddling the track (eek!)."

Testimonials from TripAdvisor

"Towards the afternoon, it got more crowded, but it was still and amazing experience. Highly recommend for thrill seekers! Also Kingda Ka wasn’t as scary as expected."

"Went on all the big roller coasters! They are still running amazing! My husband went when he was a kid and remembered mostly everything."

"We finally got to ride Kingda Ka, the tallest roller coaster ! That is finally checked off my bucket list! One thing you don't hear a lot about, is the drop tower that is set in the frame of Kingda Ka, which itself is more than 400ft tall...It just kept on going up until you finally drop down! That is the best drop tower I have ever been on in my opinion!! The park was very clean and had lots of food options."

"I recommend purchasing the all-season drink bottle since it pays itself off in 5 refills, and can be used all season. I would also recommend a season pass because it pays for itself in two visits, and includes parking. This would benefit you in the long run because your pass is paid off if you come back a second time."

"The park was clean, the staff pleasant and accommodating. Good variety of rides and the food was good and priced well."
