World's First Guitar-shaped Hotel: The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino
The world’s first guitar-shaped hotel is part of a larger project — a $2.2 billion project expanding two Florida Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos (the other is located in Tampa).
HOLLYWOOD, Florida, USA -- The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino , which is set to open on October 24 in Hollywood, South Florida,cost US$1.5 billion to create andboasts 638 guestrooms, suites, and "over-water cabanas"; the architecture is designed to resemble back-to-back guitars, complete with light-up strings, thus setting the new world record for being the World's first guitar-shaped hotel, according to the World Record Academy.

Hard Rock Live, a 6500-seat concert venue, is set to be part of the
hotel and casino's expansion. The arena-like room plans to host
approximately 100 concerts annually, but also expects to accommodate
sporting events, theatre and possibly award shows, reports CNN.
Guests to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel will have an entire "retail
corridor", day pool, nightclub and man-made lagoon (complete with paddle
boats) at their disposal, and foodies will be sure to find a favourite
among the property's numerous restaurants and bars.
The guitar-shaped 400-foot-tall Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Florida,
officially opens October 24.Room reservations can be made online
beginning July 24, and tickets to the grand opening’s headliner musical
act — Maroon 5 — are available for purchase May 31.
