"The airguns are chronologically presented to visitors, defining periods in Daisy history as you travel through the museum. You do not have to be a Daisy collector or airgun enthusiast to appreciate the museum. Visitors loved to reminisce and find the Daisy they owned as a child and to see how the Daisy BB Gun has evolved through the years. There's even a section of the museum dedicated to the movie A Christmas Story that includes the famous leg lamp!"

"Established in 2000, the museum’s chronological displays are bound to trigger nostalgic feelings in anyone who once owned a Daisy gun. The World War II exhibit is particularly extensive and recounts the company’s contributions to the War Department after targeting its manufacturing on defeating the Axis powers," the Atlas Obscura says.

"Daisy Outdoor Products (known primarily as Daisy) is an American airgun manufacturer known particularly for their lines of BB guns. It was formed in 1882 initially as the Plymouth Iron Windmill Company in Plymouth, Michigan, to manufacture steel windmills, and from 1888 started bundling BB-caliber air guns with each windmill purchase as a sales promotion.

"With the unrivaled popularity of their 1888-model Daisy BB Guns, the company changed the name to Daisy Manufacturing Company in 1895 and switched their business to solely producing air guns for sale. Throughout the 20th century, Daisy has been known as a company that makes and sells BB guns and pellet youth rifles. Their Red Ryder BB Gun is perhaps the best known and longest production item, which has been featured in many TV shows and movies since its introduction in the spring of 1940.

"Daisy is best known for their inexpensive youth BB guns, modeled after lever-action rifles. Perhaps the most famous of these is the Red Ryder model, which is still in production today, despite the fact that the Red Ryder comic strip was canceled in 1963. These simple smoothbore, spring-air BB guns fire at low velocities, and are marketed to children ages 10 and over. In addition to the spring air BB guns, Daisy also markets a line of multi-pump pneumatic rifles capable of firing pellets or BBs to the same age group." (Wikipedia)

"Walking through the museum, you’ll notice vintage décor outfitting the entire front window, one of my favorite features of the museum," the Only In Arkansas says.

"Displays begin with airguns (also from other companies/manufacturers) that came out of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, progressing up through the early years of Daisy’s success and on into the 20th century. (Just a side note: we studied Lewis and Clark in history this year, so it was exciting to learn that they had indeed traveled with an air rifle.)

"At the end of the tour, you’ll walk into the Gift Shop and Factory Outlet Store, where you can purchase guns, safety equipment, targets, BBs, collectible Daisy and Red Ryder memorabilia, postcards and more. You can fill your own tin from a barrel of Daisy BBs. The staff is extremely helpful, and you bet they know their stuff. Any question we asked about a particular gun, they knew the answer."

"Daisy Air Gun Museum is a place to learn about the history of Daisy guns. You learn a lot about BB guns. They have an audio tour you can listen through a device you hold up to your ear."

"A Must if you're in the area. Very cheap admission and you can get through it in an hour. They just put up a 25-foot air gun rifle outside the museum which would be good for photo ops. The staff is friendly here and it's very educational regarding the company and air rifles. I say stop in if in the area."
