Heaviest squat to parallel in a belted squat machine (female): Kerstin Sellberg sets world record

Dublin, Ireland--Kerstin Sellberg, also known as 'The_gymgoddess', Head Personal Trainer and manager at Educogym, Eccles Street in Dublin, Ireland, used a belted squat machine to perform a squat to parallel with 815.7 lbs (370 kg), thus setting the new world record for the Heaviest squat to parallel in a belted squat machine (female), according to the WORLD RECORD ACADEMY.

According to the very strict rules enforced by the World Record Academy, Kerstin have had to submit two anti-doping tests, too.

"I would like this World record to inspire and empower ordinary people to go in search of their own power and potential,"says Kerstin..

"I would like to help people realise that their greatest asset can actually be found within them (in the mind). There is plenty of research to prove that there is a strong connection between the body and the mind but I feel we have still not fully realised just how powerful this is, even for achieving great health."

Kerstin, alias The_gymgoddess has been trained by Dr. Tony Quinn (Expert in Mind Technology) to use more of the mind which allows her to do extraordinary things such as performing a 700 lbs squat, but the point she wants to make is that we are all capable of extraordinary things.

Dr. Quinn showed in university research that people who were trained to use more of their mind were able to lift heavier weight. This resulted in them getting into better shape.

"I often hear my clients, both men and women, tell me about all sorts of limitations and reasons why they can't do or achieve or be what they really want. I can see that they have much more potential than they think”, says Kerstin.

"Re-educating the mind to be able to use more of it to lift a weight that a woman (and probably also most men) would not normally be able to lift, using just pure physical strength, is a fun and extremely interesting challenge but it is also something much more important than that.

"It is proof that ordinary people have superpowers and that the mind can overcome matter.
