"Turning the formerly filthy byway in Grohl’s hometown of Warren, Ohio into a shrine dedicated to the musician was surprisingly the brainchild of a police sergeant.

"Warren native Joe O’Grady had seen his city begin to decline and realized the inspiration that Grohl could bring to the local youth, and with this in mind he lobbied the city council to change the name of a dingy alley and then spearheaded the clean up and renovation of the space himself. O’Grady contacted local artists to create various tributes to Grohl including statues, murals, and paintings honoring the man and his copious musical projects."

"Any Foo Fan driving through northeastern Ohio should be legally required to stop into Warren, the hometown of Dave Grohl, to pay respect to the man/the myth/the legend. It's literally just an alleyway beside a Burger King, but it's decorated with several beautiful artistic tributes to Warren's most famous son (plus the world's largest drumsticks, apparently!)."

"We decided to break up a long drive with a fun side stop. Parking was a little goofy but the alley was clean and easy to find."

"My teen is suddenly into Nirvana and Foo fighters, so I brought her here. She enjoyed the art and the nearby hot dog shop. It's a nice stop if you're in the area."

"Local artists have painted murals honoring Grohl and created a metal sculpture of a drummer. The world's "largest" drum sticks reside in this alley. It's a curiosity, and worth the few minutes it takes to walk through the alley."

"This is a small alley with the world's largest drum sticks. Plenty of fun art work and items to get some fun pics with. Park in the Burger King lot - be attentive to THEIR busy times of course, but you'll only need 5-10 minutes. Go have some fun!'
