"Buc-ee’s has opened the world’s largest gas station in Sevierville, Tennessee, reports TODAY. The 74,000 square-foot location has 120 gas pumps and employs more than 350 people," the Convenience.org says.

"The new store includes Buc-ee’s signature brisket sandwiches and other barbecue items made fresh at the location, as well as a plethora of other items from fresh fudge to bathing suits."

"Buc-ee's is an American chain of country stores, gas stations, and electric vehicle chargers created and owned by Arch "Beaver" Aplin III, headquartered in Lake Jackson, Texas. The chain was first founded in 1982 in Clute, Texas and began expansion with its first travel center in Luling, Texas in 2003. The company began expanding outside of Texas in 2018 with the opening of a location in Baldwin County, Alabama, and has since opened locations in Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Tennessee, with new locations planned for North Carolina, Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

The company dubbed the new location at Interstate 40’s Exit 407 the "largest travel center in the world," the Fox Business says.



"Customers of the massive Sevierville store, like other locations, will be able to get "Buc-ee’s favorites" such as Beaver Nuggets, homemade fudge and Texas barbeque, the release said. It also operates a large carwash.

"The location in Sevierville lifts Buc-ee’s total number of stores to 46, with roughly two-thirds of those located in Texas, where the company has its headquarters. Tennessee is home to one other Buc-ee’s, also located in the eastern portion of the state."
