According to WKMG Orlando, a study by The Family Vacation Guide has revealed that Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is the world’s most expensive theme park for 2022, with a whopping 1-day ticket starting price of $117.94.

"Busch Gardens began as a hospitality centre at the brewery in Tampa, offering tropical gardens with exotic birds and animals. In 1965 the Serengeti Plain exhibit was opened, featuring hundreds of African animals roaming free in a replicated habitat. Busch Gardens ticket prices start at $117.94 for single-day tickets, the study shows. Busch Gardens sent updated pricing showing single-day tickets start at $89.99, marked down from $124.99," the clickorlando.com reports.

"Next in the rankings was Walt Disney World, starting at $109 per ticket. Tied for third place were Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios at $105 per ticket, according to the study. The website for Universal Orlando shows ticket prices have increased slightly to $109 for adult tickets.

"We had a blast! My son and I both were super excited about the roller coasters and our expectations were exceeded! Great line up and variety of coasters but the king was Iron Gwazi! A true crowning achievement it’s with smoothness, pacing, and thrills!  Aside from the outstanding line up of rides the theming and landscaping of the park is beautiful. Busch Gardens is truly set apart as a beautiful park to just walk around and take in. The animal exhibits were great and plentiful throughout the park. What stood out for me above all else was the customer service and friendliness of the staff. While other central Florida themes parks continue to have a decline in customer service and overall kindness of the staff Busch Garden’s staff put it over the top! The entire staff from the ride operators, animal keepers, shop attendants, and custodial staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. This put our experience over the top!"

"The roller coasters are what make this park worth visiting, but you can't help comparing the experience to a day out at Disney or Universal. Some fantastic rides and low attendance (on a September weekday) meant a great time for us. Would I return? For Iron Gwazi, you bet!"
