NEILLSVILLE, Wisconsin, United States--Standing tall in the city of Neillsville, Wisconsin is Chatty Belle, a giant Holstein fitted with a voice box; she stands 16 feet high at the shoulders and is 20 feet long, seven times as large as the average Holstein, thus setting the world record for being the World's Largest  Talking Cow, according to the WORLD RECORD ACADEMY.

Bullet doesn’t talk yet but he’s learning. What’s your name? Well, nice to meet you. Did you know I’m the world’s largest talking cow? "Chatty Belle's name resulted from a contest held in 1966 and won by a first grader named Jody Hartl. For coming up with the best name, she received 100 pounds of butter and a trip to the Grassland Dairy Cheese Factory, the waymarking.com reports.


"She stands 16 feet high at the shoulders and is 20 feet long, seven times as large as the average Holstein.If you place a quarter into the machine, she speaks through a speaker located under her chin."

"Mr. James Crowley, former Extension Dairyman at the University of Wisconsin estimated that Chatty Belle would consume 11 tons of grain, 24.5 tons of hay and 24.5 tons of silage per year!"the cwb.radio reports.
