The GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for the Largest ancient stone balls was set by Las Bolas Grandes ('the giant balls'); there are more than a thousand perfectly spherical granitic globes scattered widely over the Diquis Delta of Costa Rica. Carved from naturally spherical masses of granite by a still-unidentified race of pre-Columbian people, the largest of these spectacular objects measure up to 2.5 m in diameter and weigh over 16 tonnes.

GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS also recognized the world record for the largest stone tile; it is 21.04 m² (226 ft² 67 in²) and was achieved by Hebei Lingbiao Technology & Development Co., Ltd. (China) in Qinhuangdao, Hebei, China, on 31 August 2021.
