World's Largest Collection of Pizza-related Items, world record in New Jersey

Kenilworth, New Jersey, United States--Telina Cuppari, 42, also known as “Pizza Girl,” has collected 669 pizza items including a pizza couch, a pizza dress, pizza-shaped earrings, a pizza necklace, pizza games, pizza Pez, and pizza socks; her collection sets the new world record for the World's Largest Collection of Pizza-related Items, according to the WORLD RECORD ACADEMY.

"A New Jersey woman has landed in the Guinness record book for having the most pieces of pizza memorabilia, a report said.

"Telina Cuppari, also known as “Pizza Girl,” has collected 669 pizza items including a pizza couch, a pizza dress, pizza-shaped earrings, a pizza necklace, pizza games, pizza Pez, and pizza socks," the New York Post says.

"Cuppari, 42, told NJ.com that she started collecting pizza memorabilia and clothes when she moved in New Jersey in 2012."

This record is for the greatest number of commercially available pizza shaped or motif items in a private collection.
This record is measured by the total number of pizza related items in the collection.
This record is to be attempted by an individual.
For the purposes of this record a pizza is bread based meal traditionally covered with tomato sauce and cheese.

"To say that Telina Cuppari of Kenilworth loves pizza is an understatement. Cuppari is so into slices that she has filled her home with more than 800 pizza collectibles—and even holds the Guinness World Record for the most pizza-related items," the New Jersey Monthly Magazine says.

"When Cuppari, a California native and lifelong pizza lover, moved to New Jersey in 2012, she started collecting pizza knicknacks—an appropriate hobby for someone living in a state with so many pizzerias. Then she started wearing quirky pizza-print fashions, nabbing the nickname “Pizza Girl” in the process.

"Though she broke the Guinness record in late 2021 with 669 items, Cuppari now owns 800 and counting. Some favorites include a gown by Union designer ModMara by Faraj Couture, a pizza-shaped eyeshadow palette, and a shower curtain that features a sloth, dinosaur and pizza. Her collection includes books, toys, mugs, jewelry, clothing, dolls and much, much more."

"Recently a “Celebration of Pizza” was held for seniors all over Union County which featured a presentation by world collector of pizza memorabilia, Telina Cuppari," the Tap Into says.

"The event took place at the Kenilworth Senior Center located at 526 Boulevard and participants enjoyed pizza from local pizzerias and Italian cookies. The keynote presenter was Kenilworth local Telina Cuppari, who has since 2021, held two Guinness World Records for the Largest-Collection of Pizza Related Items.

"Guests were able to view part of her collection of pizza memorabilia, learn interesting facts about the iconic Italian dish, and its history."

"A New Jersey woman was awarded a Guinness World Records title when the organization verified her collection of nearly 700 pizza-related items was the largest in the world," the UPI reports.

Telina Cuppari of Kenilworth said she received word this week from Guinness World Records verifying that she is now the holder of the record for the largest collection of pizza-related items.

"Guinness said 669 items from Cuppari's collection qualified for the record. The number was enough to take the record from Philadelphia man Brian Dwyer, whose collection was tallied at 561 items in 2011."

"A woman in New Jersey, USA, earned a Guinness World Record when her collection of 669 pizza-related items was verified as the largest in the world," the Times Now reports.

"Telina Cuppari, also known as the ‘Pizza Girl’, topped the previous record of 561 items set by Brian Dwyer in 2011 with her freak obsession for all things pizza.

"Telina is all about pizza - so much so that she had a pizza-themed maternity photoshoot and even took pizza-themed decorations to her hospital room."
