Cabatangan, Talisay City, Negros Occidental, Philippines--The Campuestohan Highland Resort, a theme park and resort in Talisay, Negros Occidental, Philippines, covers an area of 11 hectares (27 acres); the new Chasing Water Slide, which is almost finished, is 150 meters long and has six lanes, sets the new world record for being World's Longest Chasing Water Slide, according to the WORLD RECORD ACADEY

"The Campuestohan Highland Resort is a theme park and resort in Talisay, Negros Occidental. The site of the Campuestohan Highland Resort was offered to the Tan family in 2009. The property was bought in 2010 by Ricardo Tan, initially planning to use the land to build a retirement home for his wife, Nita. It started out as a 5 hectares (12 acres) property.
"Despite skepticism from relatives and friends over the site called a "dead place", Tan developed the area into an eco-tourism-oriented theme park and resort called the Campuestohan Highland Resort. Construction began in June 2011. Campuestohan eventually had its grand launch in May 2014. The Dinosaurs Park opened in 2017. In October 2024, the resort inaugurated the Manok ni Cano Gwapo rooster-shaped hotel building." (Wikipedia)

"Campuestohan covers an area of 11 hectares (27 acres). It is noted for its Dinosaurs Park which features moving and stationary models of dinosaurs. It also have a water park which includes wave pools, foam bath as well as a sky bike and zip lines.
"The Manok ni Cano Gwapo is recognized by Guinness World Records as the "tallest building in the shape of a chicken" at the time of its inauguration.
"The resort is recognized as one of the top destinations in the Western Visayas region (Talisay is now part of the Negros Island Region since 2024) in the Pagdayaw 2023 by the Department of Tourism." (Wikipedia)

"A water slide (also referred to as a flume, water chute, or hydroslide) is a type of slide designed for warm-weather or indoor recreational use at swimming pools or water parks. Water slides differ in their riding method and therefore size. Some slides require riders to sit directly on the slide, or on a raft or tube designed to be used with the slide.
"A typical water slide uses a pump system to pump water to the top which is then allowed to freely flow down its surface. The water reduces friction so sliders travel down the slide very quickly. Water slides run into a swimming pool (often called a plunge pool) or a long run-out chute." (Wikipedia)

"The "Waterslide" at Buena Vista Lodge in Costa Rica is a 400 metres (1,300 ft) long water slide where the rider sits directly on the slide, with an inner-tube around their upper body for safety. The longest multi-person water-coaster (see below) is the 1,763 foot (537 m) long Mammoth at Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana.
"The current longest water slide, "The Longest", is a permanent single-passenger tube waterslide located in Penang, Malaysia at the ESCAPE family theme park. Visitors access the attraction via a cable car system and ride down the slide for approximately 4 minutes whilst navigating through 1,111 metres (3,645 ft) of scenic jungle." (Wikipedia)

"Ricardo "Cano" Tan is a Filipino politician, businessman and former sports administrator. Tan was president of the Philippine Football Federation from 1995 to 1996. He was elected in November 1995, replacing his absent predecessor Lope Pascual. Among the first issue he dealt with was the Philippines' participation in the football tournament of the 1995 Southeast Asian Games in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This was resolved through a fund-raising by the PFF.
"Under the administration of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Tan served as director of the Manila International Airport Authority. He was also the assistant secretary of the Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC) from 2004 to 2007 and director of the Land Transportation Office-National Capital Region (LTO-NCR) from 2007 to 2009.
"Tan's family owns the Campuestohan Highland Resort in Talisay, Negros Occidental. He conceptualized the Manok ni Cano Gwapo is a Guinness World Records verified largest chicken building. The giant rooster hotel in Campuestohan Highland Resort is a monument and memorial to Negros' cockfighting industry."(Wikipedia)

"Situated right in the boundaries of two of the most progressive cities in the province – Bacolod City and Talisay City, Campuestohan is a 5-hectare property that radiates the splendor of the lush green forests of Mt. Makawili," the official website says.
"From this vantage point, one can see the breathtaking view of almost half of the entire province of Negros Occidental, and even that of Panay Island. Most of the time, the weather in the resort is downright cool while one can see the seemingly merciless heat in the plains below."

"The water slide is almost finished and the pool covered with the tank structure is under construction. I have attached a few photos for your reference. Please see the specifics:
Slide is 150 meters long
Pool Tank is 10x25 meters
Tank 20x40 meters big
15 meters high

"Chasing Waterslide" likely refers to the act of enjoying or experiencing waterslides, often in a playful or adventurous way, and could also refer to a specific attraction called the "Longest Chasing Water Slide in the World" located at Campuestohan Highland Resort.
"The term "chasing" can imply a pursuit of fun, speed, and excitement associated with water slides."
