"The "Antim Ivireanul" County Library in Vâlcea houses a true architectural treasure, the stained glass dome in the form of a roof, "The Creation of the World". The work was created by the Vâlcea plastic artist Gheorghe Dican, vice president of UAP Romania.
"The creation is built approximately 30 m high from the base of the building and has an unfolded surface of 142 square meters, it is structured on 7 concentric circles divided into 168 modules, composed of 2,000 kilograms of colored glass, handmade, of Romanian origin, with lead reinforcement, in the ancient stained glass technique," the

"The work materializes the elements of the concept that encompass the first manifestations of Divine Creation: air, fire, earth and water. At the bottom of the dome there are 12 circles in which are represented as many compositions that illustrate the main types of writing known so far: from Tartary to cuneiform, Phoenician, hieroglyphic, Berber, Sanskrit, Cretan, Hellenic, Persian, Cyrillic, syllabary and demotic."
